Implementing Asides…
Just a quick note to say that I’m trying to implement Asides, using several different approaches, so things may be a little funky for a little bit. Just wait, it’ll be fun!
Update: That didn’t take too long. At first I was using the MiniPosts plugin from Doocy, which is great if you want to output a list of your Asides, such as in your sidebar. Very customizable and very easy to use (requires WordPress 1.5).
However, I wanted my links to show up interspersed between my regular posts and Asides, so that would mean some form of Photo Matt’s Asides. There seems to be some issues using this in WordPress 1.5, in particularly Kubrick (upon which the underlying structure here is based). Luckily, Fernando has written up an excellent tutorial on how to get it working. Key to getting it to work in the 1.5 of Kubrick is comment 12 from zaaba.
Here comes the deluge!

Looks like you’ve got your asides working, but I just wanted to point out that you can change MiniPosts to keep stuff in the loop, as well as a few other settings, in Options → MiniPosts.
I think, given the number of people who keep their asides in the loop, I’m going to switch that setting to default that way in my next update.
