Irresponsible Stepchildren

My stepson recently started working at an electronics store which sells car audio players. Now he has it in his mind that he needs a new system for his car. I’ve tried explaining to him that he needs to pay his other bills first, but everything I say seems to go in one ear and out the other. Yesterday a bill collector called the house for him. I gave this guy my stepson’s cell phone number and asked that he no longer call our house. I’m tired of his irresponsibility and think it is time my husband steps in. It’s his son after all.
