No Claims Bonus

I have been driving for about fifteen years now and have managed to accrue twelve years of non-claims bonus, which means I usually get a great deal on my motor insurance. I think this scheme is a great way of encouraging people to drive safely as there is an incentive to save money. I have been thinking that maybe other organisations can start adopting this strategy, as a way of attracting customers. For example banks could offer a deal along the lines of, if you donít miss a mortgage payment for a number of years then you build up a payment bonus and they reduce your interest rate. Or maybe it would work well with savings accounts where by if you continuously save a certain amount over a number of years you get a bonus at the end of it. I am not sure if banks already do something like this but I think it might be a great idea.
