When you ask about aprons from a middle aged woman or an old lady you will find that they admire the spots on their aprons. They feel that spots are symbols of honor and meant something for something. For old women the apron tells the story of their life and the ups and downs that they had gone through. At times aprons were used in the kitchen or inside the house only while today as there are various options, you can wear them while serving at a party or organizing a garden party or so on. There are families that have their own history of aprons and when they sit down with one of them they will tell you the whole story behind it.
