My Mother Is Takikng Control of Her Financial Future.

My mom got into a lot of debt when my father passed away. She, like many women of her generation, didn’t pay the household bills so she never clearly knew what was coming in. Unfortunately, after my father passed her income was reduced but her spending stayed the same. She shopped just as much as she always did and before you know it, she had built up some pretty hefty credit card bills. We kids sat her down and she is turning a new leaf. She recently got a credit card debt consolidation and is doing a pretty good job sticking to a budget.
