We had severe insect damage

Our house recently underwent severe insect damage and we knew that we were going to have to spend a lot of money to fix it. We never wanted this to happen again, so we invested in the type of construction that they now use on eco homes. Our home is now framed using western red cedar, which naturally resists moisture, decay and insect damage. It also provides excellent layers of insulation and air pockets, which are great because they provide both natural thermal and weather barriers. We’ve had no issues at all since we had our house fixed, and we’ve even noticed how much warmer our house is and in turn our bills have gone down a lot. The extra money has come in handy for paying back our loan.
