Eckhart Tolle, a powerful spiritual writer and guide, has spent years in spiritual learning. He has achieved an inner enlightening that he continues to spread to the world, through his writings. His events where he conducts his lectures, provides feedback, answers questions are a powerful means of disbursing his inner power to his audiences. This is because; his primary focus is on freeing the mind from the slavery of its own disempowering or negative thoughts and memories. He teaches people to be independent of all disempowering patterns from the past. This includes rituals or beliefs that make people do acts that they do not really believe in or understand themselves, but which people do out of mere fear.
