All single (yes you freshman… joking!) are required to live in approved housing, whether on- or off-campus. This is to give all students the further opportunity to adhere to the Honor Code. Seminary counts as part of the 1/3 non-academic related portion of the selection process. The other 2/3 are ACT score and High school GPA, while Seminary is put together with AP classes, extra-curricular activities, etc.
But don’t take this too lightly - if you don’t graduate from seminary, you don’t get into BYU!
