Before I can tell you what desktop management is for, I first need to tell you what it is. Desktop management is the processes and systems used to manage the computers of any given organization.
Desktop management is a main part of systems management, which is basically the management of an organizations entire information systems. Some of the other parts of systems management are database and network management.
Desktop management is a vital part of any major business. Once your company grows to the point where you don’t know who some people in the office are, and they’ve been there for years, you are going to need some kind of desktop management system, if you don’t have one already.
