Organic Lotion Era

A long, hot bath or shower sounds relaxing right? But actually, it can pull out the protective, natural oils out of our skin. This causes dryness and itching.
That’s why an organic lotion is a good alternative in bringing back moisture of our skin after showering.
You may ask: What is the difference between a normal body lotion and an organic body lotion? A normal body lotion contains … <fill-in by researching>. While an organic body lotion, is a great moisturizer for sealing moisture into the skin. It should be applied after showering to help prevent tight, dry-feeling skin.
According to the USDA’s National Organic Program regulation, before a lotion is labeled organic, it must be composed of organically-grown ingredients without chemical pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers to ionizing radiation. It should not even contain artificial preservatives. But, exemptions such as at least 5 percent of mineral oil and petroleum jelly can be included in an organic lotion.
Lotion that is synthetic and chemicals must be waived off and replace by an organic lotion to reduce toxins to our skin, avoid dryness, maintain skin wellness and conditions and hydrates to promote an optimal skin environment.
