Proprioceptive insoles

In order to treat a broad range of biomechanical and dysfunctional problems specifically in the foot and lower limb foot orthotics are being used. Majority of the studies about it have shown that foot orthotics really works and not even one study has shown that it didn’t. A few think that they work by changing alignment, some think they work by supporting the arch of the foot; other says that they work by changing the load in the tissues; some of them think they again work by changing neurophysiological methods. Some have even designed what they call proprioceptive insoles which are supposed to work via neurophysiological methods.
