Tiles Saws for Ceramic Cutting
December 29th, 2009 by admin
Ceramic tiles are naturally thick and brittle that is why a special kind of saw is needed to cut them. There are different tile saws used for this job but choosing the correct one depends mainly on the cut that you want to achieve.
In most instances, circular saws do not properly cut the tiles. A hand tile cutter can also be used but you can’t easily get the cut that you want. The most recommended type of tile ceramic tiles is the wet tile saws.
Wet tile saws do not usually overheat because water is pumped in through the hose. This method also reduces friction. They are also portable which makes it easier for you to transfer your work from a place to another if needed. Heavy duty tile saw models are also available for cutting thicker and harder ceramic tiles.
