Little Green Men in Jump Suits

As Halloween approaches, many people are being shocked at the costumes that are available. Vampires are huge this year, along with witch, zombies, and . . . illegal “aliens”? Apparently many people are offended at the orange jump suit-wearing little green men outfits. Of course, the makers of the costume say it’s all in good fun and activist should have sense of humor, it is not an attack on undocumented immigrants in the United States. The Halloween attire has already begun being pulled from shelves at a few retailers due to complaints that the costume pokes fun at a small community and makes them seem like not “one of us”. It would be terrible for US immigration law to be rushed, stopped, changed, or kept as a result of people seeing these costumes and having it affect their political opinions – but is this really a logical fear? Who knows? But if you would like to be an alien this holiday you better get your costume quick!
