With baby boomers aging in America, there is a growing segment of the population that is finding themselves in need of life insurance that may have not made previous arrangements.
With the price of most term and whole life policies on the rise, with the recent financial downturn of the economic condition of many major insurers, it’s expected that many will have to pay higher premiums.
There are some good companies that provide life insurance for elderly, and the rates are quite affordable. It depends upon the health condition of the person and a few other factors, as well.
Diabetes is generally not as much of a factor in determining rates for people over 60 – so that’s a plus.
