When I ordered my amazon kindle reader to be delivered to the UK, I couldn’t believe how smooth the ordering procedure was. I had to pay Value Added Tax (VAT) which is a UK thing, but there were no import duties to be applied. In less than a week my reader made it to the other side of the Atlantic and within a matter of minutes of getting it out of the box I had bought and downloaded my first Kindle book. It really was very easy and I was happy to see that the wireless function worked well in the part of the UK where I live.
